I gave Nate a piece of fabric and some fabric markers and let him get to work. It didn't really work well. He drew a few lines on the fabric and declared himself "finished." So, I decided to try again, but with fabric paint this time. This time we were successful and I had a good size, hand painted fabric to work with. I used this template to cut out the little tie shapes. After I cut out the ties and backed them with a piece of felt and "Viola!" Tie keychains made from Nate-painted fabric. I am really pleased with the way they turned out.
