I really, really love canned string beans. I mean, eat them straight out of the can LOVE... I actually prefer them to fresh. But, in the summer when fresh green beans are plentiful and cheap we eat a lot of those as well. This is how I prepare them the vast majority of the time.
1. Steam the Beans!
2. While still hot pour balsamic salad dressing over the beans and toss to coat.
That's it!
