Crockpot Roasted Chicken
Dinner tonight will be a crockpot roasted chicken. This is the easiest way to roast a chicken and I love it. You don't get crispy skin, so if you're a skin fan you may not like this recipe.
1. Remove giblets from thawed chicken. Rinse chicken inside and out with cold water. pat dry.
2. Spring chicken, inside and out with either seasoning salt (like Lawry's) or salt, black pepper, and garlic.
3. Spring inside of crockpot with olive oil spray.
4. Roll up 4-5 ball of tin foil and place in bottom of crockpot.
5. Place chicken, breast side up on top of balls.
6. Cook on low for 4-6 hours depending on the size of your bird.
The meat will literally fall from the bone.
Enjoy!

This is how my mom used to do her crockpot chicken and now I do too. It's so wonderful coming home to the smell of this chicken going in the crockpot. Almost as great as eating it!
