Dining on a Dime Giveaway!

This will be my first ever giveaway of Cuppa, Cuppa, Cuppa, and I am really excited. I have in my possession one brand new copy of the Dining on a Dime Cookbook. I own this cook book and I LOVE IT. If you need a recipe for taco sauce it is in there. If you need a recipe for sidewalk chalk it is in there. If you need a recipe for a pore-minimizing clay mask... well, I am pretty sure that you can find a recipe for something close in there!

So, if you are interested in having your own copy... leave me a comment and a give me one frugal cooking tip. Winners will be picked on Monday, April 6th!

Hmmm...frugal cooking tip? How about making rubber meals? Like baked chicken, beans and cornbread one night, then taking the cornbread to make chicken & dressing, then the left over beans to make white chicken chili? One big cook, three simple meals.

Good luck to all who enter!

You might wanna wait a couple of hours into the day before calling your giveaway quits -- I posted about it on my blog. Good luck!

My Frugal Cooking Tip is I buy Ground Chuck or Ground Beef and Ground Turkey. I then cook up the Ground Beef, Ground Chuck , and Ground Turkey and then I Freeze the Rest for Another Meal.
My Favorite Meal to make with the Ground Turkey is Chili ,Spaghetti, or Taco's. My Frugal Cooking Tip is to buy Dry Beans and Cook them up and Freeze some for a later meal.

My frugal cooking tip is to cook with ingredients that are in season, thus on sale and a little less expensive than cooking with fruits and vegetables out of season. I also buy meats in bulk and split the package into meal size portions - much less per pound in bulk!

Good luck everyone.

I try to plan my meals for the week around the grocery store sales for that week. That really helps cut costs on the expensive items like meat. Also, if I double the recipe and freeze half of it for later in individual portions...it saves on waste and prevents us from having to cook on busy days.

Great giveaway!

I hope it's not too late to enter! My frugal cooking tip is to use up all my leftovers. Every three days or so, I pull out the leftovers and try to think of ways to use them in future meals. Waste not, want not!

Thanks for the giveaway!

I have several recipes that I use canned tomatos. Instead of buying several small cans, I buy the industrial size. I make and freeze 2 or 3 of these recipes along with spaghetti sauce for less than 1/2 the price. Much cheaper than buying several small cans and a jar of spaghetti sauce.

Thanks for having a great giveaway

Please count me in. How about growing your own vegetables and only eating what is in season locally.
