That's how things work at our house too. Hubby upgrades, I get the hand-me-downs. BUT - they are usually still in great shape, still current and still wonderful to use - like your "new" camera! My husband has a D80 and my daughter has a D40. Many those cameras take good photos. Have fun with it!
It's a Nikon D200. Hubby upgraded himself to a D something or other and I got his hand me down. :)
