I cannot claim the idea as my own, but all of the ribbons on this "horse show ribbon wreath" are mine from years of competitive horseback riding.
I didn't make this wreath to show off I put it together to brighten up my front door and to re-purpose an otherwise useless item.
That turned out really great! You're right it is a good idea for something that would and was just stored in the attic.

Molly- awesome! I saw something like this in a magazine once. I dream of sewing my ribbons into a quilt. Probably not happening anytime soon. The dye will probably run like crazy if washed, I'm guessing. Nice Wreath.
